In order to protect the photovoltaic installation from unauthorised access, Ecotec’s specialists will prepare the design of a suitable solution for the fencing system according to the investment needs, including the preparation of construction documentation and custom-designed gates for industrial and agricultural areas.

Fences for photovoltaic farms are an essential piece of infrastructure in the renewable energy sector. They perform an important protective function against intruders and also protect the panels from potential damage caused by wild animals. The choice of robust and aesthetically pleasing fencing complements the entire photovoltaic installation. We offer a variety of fencing and gate types to suit the needs and requirements of any farm.

Panel fencing is a durable and functional solution. We offer our partners fences in three variants – 2D panel, 3D panel and mesh fences. Each of them may be additionally secured with single, double or triple barbed wire.

The basic protection of the fence coating is hot-dip galvanised. Protection according to the ISO 1461 standard is carried out by immersing the prepared fencing elements in a bath of zinc (Zn) heated to approx. 450-500 degrees. The result of such a bath is the formation of a thick layer of zinc on both the outside and inside of the product. Every item supplied to our customers is checked for compliance with the aforementioned standard.

In addition, it is possible to choose any colour from the RAL palette.

Mesh fencing is an efficient and fit for purpose solution. The fences in the Ecotec range are topped with barbed wire. They are available in heights from 1000 to 2000 mm. The mesh wire can have a standard galvanised diameter of 1.2 to 3.5 mm, depending on the height and the distance between the posts.

Mesh fencing is easy to install, economical, resistant to corrosion and changing weather conditions. They are hot-dip galvanised, which is completely safe for the environment and provides the material with additional mechanical resistance.

The Ecotec offering also includes functional entrance gates to match both mesh and panel fencing.

Standard double-leaf gates up to a passage width of 8 metres are available, mostly offered for entrances to industrial areas such as solar parks. For better efficiency and durability, our gates are equipped with bi-directional hinges.

Accessories such as locking bolts, protective comb or single lock can also be selected. The customer is free to choose a colour in the RAL range, so the gate can be colour-coherent with the rest of the fence.

An additional special feature for Ecotec’s customers are our heavy-duty gates, which we manufacture up to a length of 15 meters depending on the customer’s requirements.

This makes it easier for even large construction, agricultural machinery or special vehicles to enter. They are durable, resistant to overloading, but also to mechanical loads and varying weather conditions. They can be ordered in various versions – sliding on rollers or rails, or even on sliding carriages, i.e. in an overhead version.

To increase security, we recommend using a key box or a double lock, for example.
